Account Executive – Nonprofit Sector
WeVideo is the leading full-cycle video learning platform for content creators, small businesses, and education. We have a current opening for an Account Executive – Nonprofit Sector to drive net new logo acquisition and revenue growth by sourcing and closing new business within the nonprofit space. This is a high-impact role for someone eager to take ownership of their pipeline, collaborate on GTM strategies, and bring the power of video to mission-driven organizations.

In this role, you will:
  • Own Your Pipeline : Fully source, qualify, and manage your own book of business through outbound prospecting, email campaigns, calls, LinkedIn, and event outreach.
  • Drive Net New Logo Acquisition : Identify, pursue, and close new nonprofit accounts to drive company growth.
  • Develop Go-to-Market Strategies : Work closely with sales leadership and marketing to shape outreach strategies, messaging, and campaigns tailored to the nonprofit sector.
  • Research & Target: Build account plans by understanding nonprofit pain points, organizational goals, and funding timelines.
  • Execute the Full Sales Cycle : From cold outreach to discovery, demo, negotiation, and close—you'll manage it all.
  • Deliver Value-Based Demos : Highlight how WeVideo can help nonprofits amplify their mission, tell their stories, and boost engagement through video.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Share field insights with product, customer success, and marketing to influence positioning and drive product-market fit.
  • Track & Report: Maintain pipeline hygiene in Salesforce and provide accurate forecasting and regular progress updates.
  • Attend Events : Represent WeVideo at nonprofit events and conferences to build brand awareness and connect with prospects.
Requirements:
  • Sales Experience : 3–5 years of sales experience, ideally with experience selling to nonprofits or mission-driven organizations.
  • Nonprofit Understanding : Familiarity with how nonprofits operate—including funding sources, budgeting cycles, and decision-making structures.
  • Great Communicator : Clear, compelling verbal and written communication skills; able to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Relationship Builder : Proven ability to build lasting partnerships grounded in trust and shared mission.
  • Strong Negotiator : Confident in navigating pricing conversations and closing deals that serve both client and company.
  • Strategic Sales Approach : Skilled in needs-based selling and customizing solutions to meet client goals.
  • Tech-Comfortable : Able to learn and demonstrate new platforms, especially in video and digital storytelling.
  • Self-Starter : Results-driven, proactive, and capable of managing your time and goals in a remote environment.
  • Team-Oriented : Comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams to serve the customer.
  • Education : Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Travel : Willingness to travel to nonprofit events or client meetings as needed.

Compensation: OTE range of $180,000–$200,000, commensurate with experience
