Job Description Summary

As an Account Executive, National Accounts, you will support BD’s UCC HomeCare Portfolio by working closely with the National Account Manager Team. Your responsibilities include enhancing sales, increasing profits, and focusing on major accounts as well as generating sales across managed facilities throughout the U.S. This remote position is based in the Southeast U.S. with travel requirements of up to 80% or more. You will collaborate with nursing leaders, physicians, supply chain, contracts, customer care, marketing, and other key decision makers within targeted accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the NAM Team in achieving revenue goals within BD’s Urology portfolio, supporting accounts, and managing revenue and growth within your territory.
  • Manage accounts including Distributors, DME’s, rehab hospitals, LTAC hospitals, urology offices, home health, long-term care, and government channels. Conduct educational in-services to onboard and increase utilization.
  • Coordinate and manage targeted LTAC, LTC, Urology Offices, Home Health, Rehab, and Hospice accounts to market and drive sales of BD products at C Suite and local KDM levels.
  • Analyze and monitor growth/loss metrics monthly and quarterly across various dealer and provider accounts.
  • Work with DME reps, monitor sample requests, and address product questions to grow BD’s urology portfolio.
  • Attend tradeshows and conferences, with some weekend work and travel required.
  • Achieve performance metrics and growth within your territory and support others as needed.
  • Penetrate targeted urology practices and super groups to grow BD’s brand presence.
About You

To succeed, you should have:

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Salesforce, and territory planning.
  • Ability to do multiple overnights weekly.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, customer focus, professionalism, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent listening, assessment, questioning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Business acumen and experience engaging with C-Level executives.
  • Understanding of business analytics and customer opportunity mapping.
Education and Experience
  • Minimum BA/BS from a 4-year college or university; outside sales experience and a proven sales record preferred.
  • Employment contingent upon proof of COVID-19 vaccination or testing, per company policy.
Work Environment

BD values collaboration and requires a minimum of 4 days in-office per week for most roles to foster innovation and culture. Remote or field positions will have different arrangements as specified in the job posting. Vaccination proof may be required depending on the role and location.
