We’re seeking an enthusiastic, product-obsessed sales professional who combines a love for tech with a consultative, marketing-savvy approach. If you thrive on exploring the how and why of products, asking insightful questions, and balancing the art of selling with the science of strategy, this role is for you.

Your Role

What will you be doing?

  • Territory mapping for target accounts and administration of internal systems, coordinating services efforts and deployment of resources to deliver client goals
  • Execute on inbound lead management, moving quickly to discovery to qualify in or out of customer-fit
  • Maximize inbound leads to develop outbound pipeline programs to increase pipeline and bring Swapcard solutions to your market
  • Adopt and develop sales best practices, leveraging systems to maximize efficiency while delivering an exceptional sales experience for the prospect
  • Understand and interpret prospect needs to align solutions with requirements, focusing on value creation rather than feature/function
  • Develop strong foundational knowledge of product and event tech stack ecosystems
  • Reliable forecasting and deal transparency, reference case development, and roadmap inputs as measures of success for performance assessment
Your Profile
  • Must have 4+ years in the event industry working within the event sales team of a large US association or an exhibition organizer
  • Tools: Salesforce, Sales Navigator, Outreach
  • Skilled in sales basics for discovery and negotiation
  • History of achieving sales targets in a fast-paced, high-velocity sales environment
  • Exceptional communication, listening, and presentation skills
  • Comfort speaking on the phone and via video conference
  • Persistent, optimistic & charismatic
  • Fluent in English; other languages (especially Spanish) are a plus
  • Eager to adapt to new tools and workflows and suggest improvements
  • Startup mindset — ready to learn and act quickly
  • Open-minded and adaptable to process changes
  • Appetite for growth and curiosity to learn new skills
