Job summary

I.K. Hofmann USA, Inc. in Rogers, AR is seeking an Outside Sales / Account Executive to purchase ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals from industrial suppliers and to grow the company’s market share and profitability.

The role requires active field sales to industrial accounts and a track record in metals recycling. This is not a remote role; strong negotiation and pricing skills are essential, with relocation assistance offered if needed.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience selling to industrial clients.

• Must have outside sales experience in industrial markets.

Responsibilities

• Account management and lead generation: build and manage commercial, industrial, and dealer accounts; visit suppliers to secure scrap contracts.

Job description

A metals recycling client of ours is looking for an Outside Sales / Account Executive responsible for purchasing ferrous (iron/steel) and non-ferrous (aluminum, copper, brass) scrap metals to grow the company's market share and profitability.

This is not a remote roles. Must have outside sales experience selling to Industrial clients. Metals recycling experience highly preferred!

Responsibilities

• Account Management & Lead Generation: Build and manage a network of commercial, industrial, and dealer accounts. They visit suppliers to secure ongoing scrap contracts.
• Pricing & Negotiation: Negotiate pricing and service agreements based on current market conditions and pricing models established by the company's management.
• Logistics & Material Sourcing: Coordinate the movement of scrap, often working with facility managers to ensure materials meet volume and quality specifications.
• Compliance: Ensure all metal purchases comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
