Peaksware, the parent company behind MakeMusic, is seeking an Account Executive to accelerate revenue in the music education space. You will identify K-12 schools and districts, develop the sales pipeline, perform product demos, and build relationships with teachers and arts stakeholders to convert prospects into paying customers.
This role sits with the Sales team and collaborates with Customer Support, Success, Marketing, and Product.

As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in accelerating revenue and business growth. Leveraging your knowledge of the music education marketplace, you will identify potential customers, Music Teachers & Fine Arts Stakeholders, and seek to build meaningful relationships with them. You will develop a deep understanding of their needs and desired outcomes and utilize your product expertise to successfully overcome doubts and obstacles, converting prospects into paying customers. This position will sit directly with the Sales team, work in close collaboration with the Customer Support and Customer Success Teams, Marketing Teams, and Product Teams, and report to the Manager of Sales, MakeMusic.

Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% of the time. Anticipated travel to include internal company events, meetings and training as well as customer events, trade shows and customer visits.
In addition to base salary this position will be eligible for an attractive performance based variable compensation plan.
We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The annual salary range for this role is $40,548-$80,914. We typically hire at the lower to mid-point of the range, with the top end reserved for internal growth and exceptional performance. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to base salary this position will be eligible for an attractive performance based variable compensation plan.
