Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr

Our client is an asset-based, full truckload, cross-border logistics company. They are looking for a a sales representative to grow their business. This is a remote position. Candidate must live in Michigan, Ohio, Missouri, or Tennessee!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Business Development to assess industry trends and needs.
  • Identify and engage potential customers across Mexico, the US Midwest Region, and Canada.
  • Articulate the company's value proposition to both existing and prospective clients. Represent the company's products in a compelling and mutually beneficial manner.
  • Support customer bids and contribute to the development of marketing materials. Analyze and process RFPs & RFQs efficiently.
  • Travel up to 25% for business development and client engagement.
  • Assist with additional requests from the Sales Department as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3+ years of sales experience in the trucking/transportation industry.
  • Cross-border experience within USMCA (formerly NAFTA).
  • Full Truckload experience with a strong understanding of logistics operations.
  • Asset-based experience in transportation services.
  • Prior knowledge of JIT Freight (Just-In-Time) supply chain management.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Positive and professional demeanor with a results-driven mindset. \
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel.
  • Associates' or Bachelor's degree, a plus.
