Role

As an Account Executive, you will bring strategic thinking, leadership, and a results-oriented mindset. You should have a track record of successful sales management, particularly in selling to new customers, with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets. You will contribute to Bloomerang’s impact in the nonprofit industry as a member of a successful sales team.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and Manage a Robust Sales Pipeline: Build, qualify, and oversee a sales pipeline approximately twice your sales quota.
  • Drive Your Pipeline: Generate around 30% of your pipeline through proactive outbound efforts (LinkedIn, calls, emails).
  • Own the Sales Process: Manage the full sales cycle from discovery and product demos to negotiations, aiming to close a minimum of 40% of deals (aligned with team average).
  • Lead In-Depth Evaluations: Lead discovery calls, deliver live product demonstrations, and negotiate Bloomerang’s software and services.
  • Maintain Forecast Accuracy: Ensure forecast reporting within 10% accuracy and effective pipeline management using Salesforce.
  • Engage with the Nonprofit Community: Build credibility in the nonprofit sector to become a trusted advisor, educating prospects on Bloomerang’s value.
  • Become a Bloomerang Expert: Gain deep knowledge of all Bloomerang tools and services to support prospects effectively.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Proven Track Record: 2+ years in a quota-carrying SaaS sales role. Achieving at least 95% of annual quota and 90% of monthly targets.
  • Eagerness to Learn and Grow: Strong desire to continuously improve through feedback and self-reflection.
  • Self-Sourcing Capability: Generate 30% of total deals through proactive efforts.
  • Salesforce Proficiency: Maintain accurate Salesforce records.
  • Expert Product Knowledge: Demonstrate deep understanding of solutions and communicate value effectively.

Compensation

Base salary with annual on target earnings of $120,000. Actual compensation varies by skills, experience, location, and applicable laws.

Location

Permanent, full-time, fully remote. Employees in Indianapolis, IN may work from the company headquarters. Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance is not offered at this time.
