Description

HawkEye 360 is seeking an accomplished sales and business development professional to lead sales efforts with the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC). The IC Account Executive is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business plan to achieve HE360's revenue targets within the IC. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and capturing new business opportunities, expanding key IC customer relationships, and driving sales growth within the defense sector.


Location: This position is based in Herndon, Virginia.


As the Account Executive, Intelligence Community, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve corporate revenue objectives.

  • Identify, qualify, shape, and secure strategically relevant long-term business opportunities within the IC.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key IC stakeholders, including senior leadership, procurement officials, and operational end users.

  • Drive account growth by understanding IC mission challenges and delivering high-impact solutions that leverage HawkEye 360's capabilities.

  • Develop and execute account plans that foster sustainable business growth within the defense sector.

  • Expand business partnerships within the defense ecosystem to enhance market reach and increase revenue opportunities.

  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and evolving IC procurement strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Represent HawkEye 360 at defense-related conferences, trade association meetings, and industry events to promote company products and capabilities.

  • Collaborate across company functions-including finance, legal, engineering, and product development-to ensure seamless execution of business objectives.


Your skills and qualifications:

Essential education and experience:


  • 8+ years of sales, business development and/or Account Management experience selling technology, data and analytics solutions into US intelligence markets.

  • Experience in government contracting and acquisition mechanisms in all territories, including understanding of applicable procurement law and regulation.

  • Effective communications skills with executive, financial, technical, and user audiences.

  • Experience establishing and managing sales channels and strategic partnerships.

  • Experience with data analytics.

  • Basic understanding of RF technologies, data, and potential applications in government and commercial markets.

  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new technical capabilities to customer problems.

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.

  • Self-motivated; self-starter; accountable for delivering results.

  • Experience building & maintaining sales presentations & reports in Microsoft Office

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.


Desirable:

  • Direct experience selling technology solutions to IC agencies.

  • Military or defense industry background with a strong understanding of operational requirements and mission priorities.

  • Experience selling remote sensing, SIGINT, ELINT, GIS, and GEOINT solutions.

  • Ability to navigate defense acquisition programs and influence requirements development.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales operations best practices.


Base Salary Range: $185,000 - $230,000 annually



HawkEye 360 offers a compensation package that includes a competitive base salary plus commissions and benefits. We consider many factors when determining salary offers, such as candidate's work experience, education, training & skills, as well as market and business considerations. We are also open to considering candidates with experience and qualifications at a different level than required in a job posting, which may affect the compensation package offered.
