Jobber helps small home service businesses quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments from their customers, delivering a professional customer experience. The team

Our Sales team understands who our customers are, what their businesses do, and how Jobber can help them succeed. They are passionate about sales, customers, and our purpose. The team focuses on helping small businesses be more successful and supports growth through regular coaching, feedback, and development from peers and leaders.

The role

Reporting to the Manager, Inbound Sales, the Account Executive will develop relationships and trust with small businesses as we help them power the world of mobile services. Our sales process is quick but highly consultative, and helping customers understand the value and efficiency Jobber provides is paramount.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive connection with potential customers through phone, email, and SMS outreach.
  • Develop an understanding of customers' challenges and goals.
  • Provide recommendations on how to best utilize Jobber, including workflows and feature fits.
  • Demonstrate value through conversation, social proof, and product demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to deliver an optimal customer experience.
  • Track key information in Salesforce for follow-up, knowledge sharing, and analytics.

To be successful, you will need

  • Demonstrated experience in a sales environment with commission and/or targets.
  • An ability to drive urgency in a dynamic environment with a short sales cycle.
  • Drive, tenacity, and discipline; resilience to highs and lows, and the ability to perform daily at a high level.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt conversations as needed.
  • Data-driven approach: source, interpret, and narrate insights for success.
  • Coachability and adaptability in a changing, ambiguous environment.
  • Enjoyment of technology and the ability to communicate clearly to understand customer needs.
  • Experience with a CRM system, preferably Salesforce.

Shift information

We aim to provide coverage across all open hours. The role requires non-standard shifts, with options including Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday, during daytime hours. Training and ongoing support will be provided to ensure coverage aligns with business needs.

Compensation

Jobber offers a transparent compensation structure. The base salary is $50,000 with a target on-target earnings (OTE) of $80,000 composed of a $50,000 base salary and $30,000 in uncapped commissions, paid monthly. The OTE is part of a broader total compensation package that includes equity rewards, annual health and wellness stipends, retirement matching, and comprehensive extended health coverage.
