The AE offers a customized range of food service contracts, medical products, and business products to Assisted Living Facilities, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Continuing Care Communities, and other senior care providers.

We seek a highly motivated individual with a passion for delivering impactful solutions to clients in the senior care markets. You should be a confident relationship-builder, a skilled communicator, and capable of identifying and closing opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Be a results-driven sales professional with expertise in sales processes, particularly in senior care and healthcare industries.
  2. Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas and performance targets.
  3. Identify and qualify leads, close deals, and nurture long-term relationships.
  4. Tailor solutions to meet the specific needs of senior care providers, including food, medical supplies, and capital equipment.
  5. Engage face-to-face with clients, traveling up to 70% across the territory.
Relationship Management:
  1. Build and maintain long-term client relationships through value delivery.
  2. Manage complex relationships across multiple touchpoints, engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  3. Act as a liaison between members and vendors, resolving issues related to pricing, contracts, and rebates.
  4. Meet regularly with key stakeholders to understand and align with their evolving needs.
  5. Prioritize client needs, deliver personalized solutions, and proactively resolve issues.
Territory & Account Management:
  1. Manage Illinois & Iowa territory, optimizing travel and meeting schedules.
  2. Grow the book of business by increasing contract utilization, retention, and profitability.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com, with strong CRM skills.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
  1. Use sales reports and analytics to identify trends and guide decisions.
  2. Leverage tools to identify cost savings and improve contract utilization.
  3. Maintain and track territory budgets.
  4. Monitor account compliance to ensure full contract value realization.
  5. Aim to meet or exceed performance targets and KPIs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience with a proven track record.
  • Experience in GPO, food service, med/surg, or post-acute senior health markets preferred.
  • Proven ability to prospect and close new business.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com.
  • Excellent at managing priorities and working independently.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Willing to travel frequently within the territory.
