Title: Account Executive, Food Ingredient Sales

Location: Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Arizona (Home office based)

Compensation: $100-130K base salary (plus 35% target bonus and company car or monthly allowance)

Our client is an established and respected supplier of food ingredients and specialty chemicals sold to manufacturers of food, nutraceutical, and beverage products. We are searching for a food ingredient sales professional, based in either Utah, Colorado, Idaho, or Arizona, to cover accounts throughout this territory.

Candidate Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or one of the Life Sciences (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Food Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, etc.)
  • 2 years minimum experience in B2B sales of food ingredients sold to manufacturers
  • Prior experience working for a manufacturer or distributor of functional food ingredients in a sales, sales support, tech service, or R&D capacity is required
  • Already have contacts established with food and beverage manufacturers
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to travel – on average - 3 days a week to visit accounts
  • A valid driver’s license
  • A confident and hard-working attitude.
