Location: Remote, Florida – within commuting distance to Lakeland, FL

We are seeking a motivated and experienced sales Account Executive to manage and grow key client relationships with our clients. This role will be responsible for representing multiple clients across various categories and ensuring alignment with our retailers’ strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter who understands the dynamics of headquarters selling and can balance multiple priorities with strong organizational and communication skills. Must have prior experience with Publix.

Recipe for Success:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a sales or account management role with a focus on headquarter-level retail sales, with Publix, ideally in the grocery channel.
  • Must have strong knowledge of Publix's business processes, systems, and organizational structure.
  • Must reside in Florida within reasonable commuting distance for frequent meetings in Lakeland, FL. Ability to travel for meetings and trade shows.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with syndicated data tools (IRI, Nielsen, etc.) is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients or product lines simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; comfortable interacting with executive-level stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to drive business decisions.

Here is a taste of what you will be doing:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between BBI clients and Publix HQ
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for assigned clients to drive growth at Publix.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Publix category managers and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage item presentations, business reviews, and promotional planning.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients based on category and market trends.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including analytics, insights, and retail execution.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of client performance, promotional activity, and execution updates.
