Job Description

Title: Account Executive, Enterprise Sales

Location: US Midwest Region (Remote)

Reports To: Senior Director, Enterprise Sales

As a Hitachi Solutions Account Executive, you will be responsible for growing your market by participating in all phases of customer engagement. This role focuses on expanding sales opportunities within all Microsoft solution areas, including Business Applications (Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Customer Insights) and Azure (Data & Analytics, Data Science, AI/ML, Modern Solutions). The ideal candidate is self-motivated, adaptable to dynamic conditions, and capable of fostering productive relationships within a diverse customer base.

You Will Focus On

  • Driving and managing the sales cycle from opportunity creation to closure.
  • Leading activities, managing communication, and guiding collaboration with extended team members including sales specialists, pre-sales engineers, industry directors, and leadership throughout the sales cycle.
  • Developing strategic account, territory, and opportunity plans to achieve annual objectives.
  • Building deep relationships with Microsoft’s field teams to identify, qualify, and co-sell leads and opportunities.
  • Supporting marketing and lead generation activities, including webinars, industry events (e.g., Microsoft Ignite), and direct client acquisition efforts like cold calling and Account Based Marketing.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with C-level and leadership contacts within target accounts across business and IT organizations.
  • Managing, reporting, and forecasting your business regularly to ensure predictable outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Industry experience in the Energy & Professional Services sector is preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in selling strategic technology applications and solutions; Microsoft experience is a plus.
  • Successful sales experience with technical services leveraging on-premise and Cloud technologies.
  • Experience selling services with Microsoft stack including Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, SQL, Machine Learning, IoT, and Modern Solutions is preferred.
  • Strong relationships with Microsoft customer-facing account teams.
  • Excellent written and presentation communication skills.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and partners.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and work collaboratively in a team.

Base Salary Range: USD $120,000 – USD $160,000

The salary range is a guideline; actual compensation depends on responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, and other factors.
