Account Executive - Eastern Region
Remote | Engineering | High-Growth Opportunity

(This is a remote position with travel required - Preference will be given to candidates located in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Michigan, Ohio or Indiana)

Meade Engineering is a full-service design firm specializing in innovative, cost-effective solutions for data centers, cloud providers, and large-scale construction projects. We are looking for an Account Executive to lead our market expansion and foster lasting client relationships across key sectors.

What You'll Do:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in data centers, commercial construction, and infrastructure.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored proposals and presentations.
  • Lead pricing strategy development and manage the proposal process.
  • Support contract negotiations and drive deal closure.
  • Represent Meade Engineering at industry events to increase brand visibility.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management, preferably in the engineering, construction, or technology sectors.
  • Proven track record of identifying, developing, and closing complex business opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with technical and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Ability to synthesize technical concepts and translate them into clear, compelling value propositions.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a passion for building lasting partnerships and driving growth.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with engineering or construction firms or selling technical services.
  • Familiarity with proposal development, pricing strategies, and contract negotiation.
  • Comfortable speaking at industry events and delivering client-facing presentations.
  • Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello) and marketing automation platforms.
