Overview

Pivot seeks an Account Executive to join our team ahead of the 2026 election cycle. This is a fully remote position in our Client Services Department.

As an Account Executive, you are comfortable managing multiple projects at the same time and finding ways to make the work more efficient and effective. You collaborate internally, handling clients with tight deadlines and changing strategies. Spanish fluency is required for this position. The Client Services staff work closely with Pivot's Creative, Production and Targeting teams to develop direct mail strategies for our clients. Each member of our team brings diverse perspectives and unique expertise to make an impact in democratic campaigns and organizations across the country.

This is a full-time, temporary position through Election Day 2026 with competitive salary and excellent benefits. The nature of our business requires long hours during the election cycle, and we expect all staff to be flexible in this area. Weekend and evening work will be required. Pivot aims to maintain a healthy work/life balance.

Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive plans, including timeline and budget. Define and implement quality standards and ensure deliverables meet or exceed these standards. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure processes are followed, and projects are understandable for all. Coordinate with Pivot\'s Creative, Targeting, and Production departments to create the best possible products.
  • Client Support: Ensure written communication aligns with messaging goals. Work collaboratively with Pivot leadership on strategic decisions and creative development. Ensure clients are aware of project timelines and important updates. Update budgets and plans as timelines, universes, or client needs change.
  • Content Creation: Create campaign mail plans and budgets in coordination with internal departments. Draft concepts and copy that maintain client messaging goals. Manage client edits and feedback into mail pieces with attention to detail. Oversee quality control of outputs to ensure error-free work.
  • Internal Processes: Participate in proofreading and editing. Mentor junior staff and ensure internal processes are followed.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary for this position is set at $79,560 per year. There is also the opportunity for end of election bonuses, based on individual and firm performance. To ensure pay equity across our team, salaries are non-negotiable.
