Job summary

Golin Ketchum, formed in 2026 from the merger of two iconic PR agencies, is seeking an Account Executive for Client Management to join our Corporate Reputation team in the United States. You will serve as day-to-day client contact for a large B2B professional services company, coordinating media relations, program implementation, and strategic counsel.

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a public relations agency or similar position.

• Serve as day-to-day client contact for a large B2B professional services company.
• Plan and implement account activities including media relations, desk-side briefings, program implementation, and integrated communications counsel.
• Develop written materials including client correspondence, press releases, media briefing books, and pitches.
• Research and compile high-quality media lists and industry updates relevant to the client’s program and objectives.
• Lead account support with meeting agendas, action items, and weekly/monthly reports.
• Develop and monitor program plans; report status to client and agency teams.
• Deepen understanding of the client’s business and competitive landscape for strategic recommendations.
• Coordinate internal and external resources and mentor junior staff.

What You’ll Do:

• Ability to work in a multi-faceted, fast-paced environment – supporting one of the company’s largest clients.
• Act as a day-to-day client contact for a large B2B professional services company; continually fostering client-agency relationship to build trust and become a valuable resource to clients.
• Play a key role in planning and implementing account activities including media relations, desk-side briefings, program implementation, and overall counsel on integrated communications best practices.
• Demonstrate ability to effectively develop a full range of written materials including client correspondence, press releases, media briefing books, media pitches, executive-facing reports, etc.
• Research and compile high-quality media lists, trending news updates, and other industry knowledge that is relevant for client’s program and objectives.
• Lead account support such as meeting agendas, action items, work back plans, monthly activity reports, weekly newsletters, etc.
• Develop and monitor program plans; report status to client and agency account teams regularly.
• Continually build understanding and knowledge of client's business and competitive environments; apply this information in preparing and presenting strategically focused programs and recommendations.
• Develop an understanding of research methods, coordinate internal and external resources.
• Be flexible and facilitate teamwork within the account team; coordinate team resources and create opportunities for junior staff to take on more responsibility; fully utilize agency resources to create the "best teams" for your clients.

What You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing or a related field preferred
• Two to three years of experience in a public relations agency or a similar position; technology, B2B or professional services experience is a plus
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities
• Proven ability to take initiative and apply critical thinking to assignments
• Positive attitude that contributes to the team and agency culture
• Ability to work in a multi-faceted, fast-paced environment

60-70k Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
