We work with multiple college athletic departments across the country, overseeing and generating all corporate partnerships and ticket revenue as the multimedia rights holder. We focus on maximizing brand exposure, revenue, and partnership fulfillment to help our clients achieve their financial and strategic advertising goals.

Position Overview

The Account Executive plays a key role in driving new revenue through strategic partnerships within North Carolina Central Athletics. The role involves cultivating B2B relationships with businesses in Durham, NC, and nearby areas, to secure athletic partnerships by developing effective plans to meet client objectives. The Account Executive collaborates with the Regional Sales Director to develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue potential.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new sponsorship opportunities with interested businesses.
  • Generate leads and arrange meetings for potential corporate partnerships.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential sponsors through outreach and networking.
  • Use market research to tailor sponsorship packages to client needs.
  • Negotiate sponsorship agreements ensuring mutual benefits.
  • Serve as the primary contact for prospective sponsors, guiding them through the partnership process.
  • Work with the Regional Sales Director on sales targets, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Analyze market trends and industry developments to identify new revenue opportunities.
  • Refine sales tactics to improve effectiveness and results.
  • Provide regular updates on sales performance and pipeline status to management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field.
  • Proven success in B2B sales, preferably in sports sponsorship.
  • Strong negotiation skills to close deals and grow revenue.
