Job description

The purpose of this role is a client executive position working within a dynamic team setting. The role involves managing commercial accounts alongside an account director and developing an established commercial book of business.

Sales and Activity Management:

  1. Responsible for client insurance requirements, including inviting, securing, and documenting renewals, as well as mid-year alterations and claims handling, following agreed protocols and procedures.
  2. Achieve individual income targets.
  3. Provide account support to Account Director(s) on specific clients or on an ad hoc basis as requested.
  4. Meet upsell and cross-sell targets.
  5. Ensure all processes are followed correctly.
  6. Manage aged debt and premium collection.
  7. Comply with all management and audit requirements.

Customer Relationship Management:

  1. Build effective working relationships with all customers by establishing trust, anticipating needs, sharing information, and meeting commitments.
  2. Address any customer issues regarding queries, quotes, etc.

Customer Service:

  1. Present a professional image to meet or exceed customer service standards.
  2. Ensure work is accurate and of high quality.
  3. Handle requests and inquiries from customers, staff, and management professionally and promptly.

Team Collaboration:

  1. Work closely with designated Account Director(s).
  2. Collaborate within the team to meet all customer needs.
  3. Contribute to achieving monthly and yearly targets.

Compliance:

  1. Work with the team manager and compliance teams to ensure file records meet prescribed standards.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum APA qualified and working towards CIP qualification.
  2. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  3. Strong communication skills are essential.
  4. Positive attitude with adaptability to change.
  5. Attention to detail.
  6. Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload.
  7. Good technical and product knowledge.
  8. Organized with a structured approach to time and resource management.

Person Specification:

  1. CIP qualification preferred.
  2. Experience with Open I is advantageous.
  3. Proficient in Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  4. Friendly and assertive on the phone.
  5. Ability to build relationships with insurers and clients.
  6. Willingness to learn and develop.
  7. Strong work ethic.
