Job Title: Commercial Account Executive at Material Security

Join us to apply for the Account Executive, Commercial role at Material Security.

Position Overview: As a Commercial Account Executive, you'll be part of an early, fast-growing, and highly experienced sales team. Your work will be crucial in helping the organization exceed revenue targets and build satisfied customers. Your responsibilities include building a strong pipeline, educating prospects on our product's value, differentiators, and guiding them through an efficient buying process. You'll be a trusted partner to security teams solving real-world problems.

Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets by working closely with companies in our commercial segment (251 to 2,500 employees), focusing on IT & Security teams.
  • Generate pipeline through inbound and outbound strategies.
  • Develop innovative sales strategies to drive opportunities and revenue.
  • Create an excellent customer experience throughout the sales cycle.
  • Manage existing customer relationships to promote renewal and upsell opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally within our go-to-market team and with partner organizations to identify strategic growth opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record: 3+ years in a closing role with measurable success in security sales within early-stage, high-growth environments.
  • Versatility: Ability to understand the product and problem space deeply and willingness to take on new projects outside normal scope.
  • Ownership: Willingness to take responsibility across go-to-market functions.
  • Strong communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, comfortable at all organizational levels.
  • Attitude & ambition: Smart, hardworking, competitive, team-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal guidance.
Additional Information

Material Security is a remote-first workplace with an office in San Francisco, California.

Compensation is determined by various factors, including experience and skills. The projected range is $220,000-$225,000 OTE, split evenly between base salary and variable compensation.
