The Grubhub Sales Executive role offers a great opportunity to leverage your sales skills to impact our rapid growth. You'll be selling exactly what restaurant owners want: more business. You will build Grubhub’s national restaurant partner network by researching and consulting with restaurants, meeting decision-makers, and demonstrating how Grubhub benefits their business. You should be resourceful, persuasive, determined, competitive, and able to connect with diverse people.

The Impact You Will Make
  • Engage top local restaurants and discover hidden gems our diners crave.
  • Gather restaurant feedback, monitor competitors, identify marketing opportunities, and advise management.
  • Consult with restaurant owners on the benefits of joining Grubhub, aligning their needs with our offerings.
  • Conduct extensive cold calling (60+ dials/day), emailing, and social outreach.
  • Manage your territory and sales pipeline from prospecting to closing.
  • Secure appointments, uncover needs, and present partnership value.
  • Travel for in-person sales pitches with merchant owners.
  • Exceed sales goals within a team environment.
What You Bring to the Table
  • Fluency in English; bilingual skills in Spanish or Chinese are a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Positive, dynamic personality with a desire to excel.
  • Ability to thrive in a competitive, team-oriented environment.
  • Coachability and openness to feedback.
  • Strategic thinking and sound judgment.
  • Proven success in fast-paced, transactional, quota-driven roles.
  • Strong work ethic and motivation to exceed goals.

Even Better if You Have:

  • Cold-calling experience.
  • Effective in-person sales presentation skills.
  • B2B transactional sales experience.
  • Restaurant or hospitality industry experience.
  • CRM experience, preferably with Salesforce.com.

Compensation varies by location: California: $36,000 - $60,000 base ($72,000 - $120,000 OTE); Arizona: $36,000 - $54,000 base ($72,000 - $108,000 OTE). Final offers depend on skills, education, and experience.
