This role will start as a singular key account executive position, working closely alongside our President, CEO, and CSO, as well as our community implementors and client success managers. About the Role:

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for building relationships, managing complex sales cycles, and closing deals with executive-level decision-makers across workforce development agencies, corrections, community-based partners, chambers of commerce, and government organizations. You will drive revenue growth by prospecting new business, expanding existing partnerships, and managing a robust sales pipeline.

This role requires:
  • Experience in enterprise-level, consultative sales with multi-stakeholder engagement.
  • A track record of success in Economic Development, Workforce Development, and/or Corrections sales (or a related government/nonprofit sector).
  • Ability to independently manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to contract execution.
  • Strong CRM experience (HubSpot preferred) and expertise in pipeline management.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
  • Willingness to travel for in-person meetings, conferences, and stakeholder engagements.
What You’ll Do:
  • Prospect & Develop New Business: Identify and engage potential clients in the workforce, education, and corrections sectors.
  • Manage Complex Sales Cycles: Navigate multi-stakeholder environments with long sales processes.
  • Close Deals & Drive Revenue: Own and meet/exceed quota expectations.
  • Build & Expand Relationships: Maintain and grow existing partnerships.
  • Pipeline & CRM Management: Track progress and optimize sales efforts using HubSpot.
  • Market Expansion: Leverage existing networks and develop new opportunities within the industry.
  • Systemize & Scale Sales Operations: Help develop a scalable sales strategy that could lead to team expansion.
  • Travel as Needed: Attend key industry events, meet clients in person, and support sales initiatives (travel budget provided).
  • Hire and Train new Sales Associates
Who You Are:
  • A proven closer with experience selling to executive-level decision-makers.
  • A strategic thinker who can navigate long sales cycles and complex deals.
  • A relationship builder with industry connections in Corrections, Economic Development, and/or Workforce Development (preferred).
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Someone who understands pipeline management and the nuances of consultative, solution-based selling.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base Salary: $90,000 - $110,000
  • Commission: Uncapped commission potential, OTE up to $200,000
  • Remote Work + Travel (as needed for client meetings and industry events)
