Job summary

HUB International is seeking an Account Executive to join our Small Business Commercial Lines team in Wall Township, NJ. You will market new business, review policy details, and process renewals and endorsements while supporting producers and clients.

You’ll manage data entry, assist with renewal proposals, and coordinate with underwriters and company personnel to meet client needs. Strong communication and organization are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years Commercial Lines account management experience with an established broker.
• 2+ years of prior office/customer service experience
• Valid Property & Casualty Broker's License required
• Excellent presentation and communication skills are a must
• Strong organization skills
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline driven environment
• College degree is preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Marketing new business for producers and market renewals.
• Checking the accuracy of policies, endorsements, audits, etc. from insurance companies.
• Entering detail into computer on new and maintaining detail on existing accounts.
• Reviewing and gathering information to process renewal/new business policies.
• Managing the renewal process and preparing renewal proposals to be presented by the producer.
• Answering telephones and assisting clients with questions regarding their coverage.
• Communicating with company personnel regarding client needs and/or problems.
• Understanding agency rating systems and company rating systems and websites.
• Negotiating with underwriters from other insurance companies on rates and coverage.
• Following up on requested changes, renewals, etc. with insurance companies.
• Maintaining an accurate suspense system on all items that require a response.
• Performing special projects as requested by management.

The expected salary range for this position is $38.46/hr - $41.21/hr and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
