We act as an extension of our clients’ procurement teams - managing their supply chain strategy so they can focus on running their business.

About the Role - Account Executive

We’re looking for a hungry, scrappy salesperson interested in restaurants and wants to sell something that truly helps operators save money. This role is perfect for someone who has sold B2B, B2C or into independent restaurants or small regional chains. The ideal candidate is a motivated salesperson seeking a new challenge, more upside, and the chance to sell a highly differentiated service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a pipeline of independent and small-chain restaurant operators in your target market or niche.
  • Conduct outreach via phone, text, email, and in-person visits (where possible).
  • Focus on owners, chefs, and operators - meeting them where they are (even if that’s the kitchen).

Consultative Selling & Client Discovery Pipeline Management & Reporting

  • Conduct discovery calls and meetings focused on understanding a restaurant’s food cost challenges.
  • Educate prospects on how FoodServiceIQ can help optimize their supply chain and improve margins.
  • Build trust by speaking the language of operators — food costs, margins, sourcing, distributor pricing, and operations.
  • Manage leads, activity, and pipeline in Zoho CRM.
  • Provide clear activity reporting and pipeline updates to the team.

Territory / Industry Expertise

  • Develop deep expertise in a niche or territory (e.g., Austin independents, BBQ joints, farm-to-table concepts, Mexican restaurants, etc.).
  • Identify price-sensitive operators and ideal customer profiles within your market.

Skills & Qualifications Required

  • 2-10 years of B2B sales experience
  • Proven success with sales calls and consultative sales roles
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing a high volume of outreach and follow-ups.
  • Experience with CRM systems (Zoho preferred).
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to get creative, be scrappy, and meet restaurant operators on their terms.

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Remote (with local market presence preferred)

Compensation includes a base salary (to be discussed directly with our Sales Manager) plus commission. The expected OTE ranges from $140,000 to $200,000 annually.
