Job summary

Position Summary

As an Account Executive, you are responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities while managing and expanding relationships with existing clients. This role requires a proactive, consultative approach to sales, combining product knowledge, industry expertise, and a strong client focus. As a key contributor to the sales team, the Account Executive will work cross-functional with Marketing, Client Success, and Product teams to ensure client satisfaction and long-term retention. This role will include assisting with sales activities, building relationships with clients, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the sales process.

  • Support disciplined adherence to the Company's CPS sales process, pricing policies, procedures, standards, templates, activity goals, and expectations.
  • Assist in maintaining account management responsibility after acquiring a new client and assigned Strategic Accounts thereafter.
  • Identify and develop new sales leads; build relationships to maintain an adequate pipeline to achieve assigned quota.
  • Attend appropriate industry conferences, trade shows, and networking opportunities to attract new prospective clients and expand the Company's audience.
  • Ad hoc duties, as assigned
Experience Required
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales, account management, or business development role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  • Experience in managing high-value contracts.
Qualifications, Skills, & Knowledge
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
  • Resides on the West Coast
  • Familiarity with SaaS, tech, or healthcare sales preferred.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
  • Ability to assist in identifying target contacts and developing internal champions within accounts.
  • Proficiency with software tools/applications (e.g., Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office).
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity, information risk management, and compliance standards, and willingness to learn more to attain a level of proficiency required to be successful in this role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Establish strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Strictly follow the Clearwater Performance Selling (CPS) sales process.
  • Actively participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to attract and engage new prospective clients.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task, in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of diverse individuals.

The base salary range for this role is $[100,000-120,000]. Base salary is part of our total rewards package which also includes the opportunity for merit-based salary increases, eligibility for our 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances and leaves provided in line with your work state. Our robust time-off policy includes flexible paid time off, 11 paid holidays, and paid sick time. Total compensation, including base salary to be offered, will depend on elements unique to each candidate, including applicable candidate experience, skills, education and other factors permitted by law.
