Job summary

Civic Media in Baldwin, Wisconsin is seeking radio advertising sales professionals to grow our WSCM station and expand into the Minneapolis market. The role emphasizes prospecting and new account acquisition across St. Croix County and surrounding Midwest markets.

You will build relationships, negotiate terms, and present radio and digital advertising packages across News/Talk/Sports and music formats. A base salary plus generous commissions and full benefits are provided, with travel support

• Previous experience as a sales professional in outside sales environment.
• Ability to create and maintain good relationships with customers.
• Strong negotiating and sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs
• Effectively communicate the value proposition of radio and digital advertising placements on our network stations and with our shows’ digital audience
• Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion

Civic Media is hiring radio advertising sales professionals for our WSCM station in Baldwin, Wisconsin to help our rapidly growing station move into the Minneapolis market, and continue our network growth across the Midwest. Sales positions will focus on prospecting and new account acquisition. These positions would focus St. Croix County, Wisconsin. Ideal candidates will have prior media/advertising sales experience and success, reliable transportation,and a connection to the communitiesin which they would sell. This position pays a base salary plus generous commission.

Civic Media hasa robust blend ofpro, college, and high school sports teams coveragethroughout the Civic Media network of stations with associated packages to sell. In addition to News/Talk/Sports stations, Civic Media features several regionally located Country Musicand Classic Hitsformatted stations.

Civic Media is motivated to preserve hometown radio and the local news and high school sports coverage, broadcasting from Main Streets across the Midwest.
