Role Strategic Objective
Drive profitable revenue growth for ProSentry through disciplined prospecting, strong discovery, clear value articulation, and professional deal execution.
This role is responsible for originating new business opportunities, converting qualified prospects into long-term customers, and expanding ProSentry’s presence within the property ownership and management community, including growth within existing accounts.
The Account Executive must confidently communicate the financial and operational value of ProSentry’s solutions, particularly around risk mitigation, loss prevention, and insurance impact. Success in this role requires persistence, strong closing ability, and the discipline to consistently build, advance, and convert a qualified pipeline.
Qualifications and Experience
- 3+ years of experience in a quota-carrying B2B sales role with direct responsibility for closing new business
- Experience selling into multifamily and commercial real estate ownership or property management organizations
- Working knowledge of property management operations, ownership structures, and decision-making processes
- Experience interacting with Boards, ownership groups, or senior stakeholders within real estate organizations
- Strong understanding of professional B2B sales processes, including structured discovery, objection handling, and negotiation
- Proficiency using HubSpot with disciplined pipeline management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to executive-level audiences
- Rudimentary knowledge of plumbing and HVAC, particularly as it relates to leaks (insurance loss prevention, underwriting, or claims management background is a plus)
- Strong executive presence and credibility when speaking with property owners, asset managers, and operational leaders
- Persistent and resilient, able to handle rejection and continue advancing conversations
- Able to clearly articulate financial value, risk reduction impact, and insurance relevance
- Disciplined with follow-up and pipeline management, consistently closing loops and advancing next steps
- Highly self-motivated with a strong internal drive to win new business and interest in growing into a leadership role
- Comfortable initiating outreach and generating opportunities without heavy oversight
- Comfortable operating in a small, evolving team environment
- Professional demeanor with strong written and verbal communication skills

Position Specifics
- Full-time position, primarily based in our Midtown NYC office
- Regular use of HubSpot CRM, PowerPoint, and other related business tools
- Local travel required for client meetings, property walkthroughs, and industry event; periodic travel may be required as ProSentry expands into additional markets
Key Responsibilities
This is a performance-driven role with clear revenue expectations. In addition to the responsibilities outlined below, this role is expected to help strengthen ProSentry’s sales discipline and market presence over time.
New Business Development
- Proactively generate new customer opportunities through direct outreach, industry engagement, and relationship development
- Take primary ownership of self-sourced pipeline generation, while effectively converting inbound opportunities
- Conduct structured discovery conversations to uncover operational risk exposure, loss history, and insurance pressures
- Position ProSentry’s solutions in terms of financial impact, risk reduction, and long-term asset protection
- Own the sales process from initial contact through executed agreement
Account Expansion
- Identify additional deployment opportunities within existing customer portfolios
- Build relationships across ownership, asset management, operations, and risk stakeholders
- Introduce expanded coverage or additional services where appropriate
Pipeline Management and Forecasting
- Maintain an accurate and current pipeline in HubSpot
- Ensure opportunity values, scope, pricing, and timing reflect realistic expectations
- Provide reliable weekly forecasts supported by clear next steps and deal strategy
- Maintain sufficient pipeline development activity to support revenue objectives
Proposal and Deal Execution
- Develop proposals aligned with customer needs and company margin expectations
- Lead pricing discussions and negotiations within approved parameters
- Ensure alignment between proposal scope and executed contracts
- Coordinate smooth handoff to operations following contract execution
Market and Industry Engagement
- Represent ProSentry at industry events, association meetings, and relevant conferences
- Maintain awareness of competitive positioning and insurance market trends
- Provide feedback to leadership on objections, market dynamics, and emerging opportunities
