Qualifications

  • Familiarity with media outreach tools and PR software.

Pitchblend is seeking a proactive, client-centric, and results-driven Account Executive to help execute impactful communications campaigns for our global clients. The Role

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Account Executive to play a pivotal role in executing integrated PR strategies across a diverse range of exciting client accounts. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building media relationships, supporting client communication, and assisting in crafting impactful brand narratives. As an Account Executive, you’ll collaborate with senior team members to execute media outreach, draft materials, track campaign performance, and contribute to successful brand storytelling. This role is open to candidates located in the New York City. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Responsibilities
  • Support the execution of PR strategies across multiple client accounts, ensuring alignment with client goals and objectives.
  • Draft and assist in pitching media materials, including press releases, media advisories, and pitch emails.
  • Help manage media outreach and build relationships with key journalists, influencers, and bloggers.
  • Track and analyze media coverage, assisting in preparing campaign reports and insights for clients.
  • Coordinate logistics for media events, influencer activations, and product launches.
  • Collaborate with internal teams in creative, digital, and strategy to ensure flawless campaign execution.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to help identify new media opportunities for clients.
  • Maintain and update media lists, ensuring accuracy for effective outreach and follow-up.
  • Assist in preparing client-facing materials such as reports, presentations, and proposals.
  • Own day-to-day account administration and execution, including maintaining project trackers, timelines, client status updates, and overall account organization.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in PR, communications, or brand strategy, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create clear and compelling media materials.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, demonstrating excellent time management and organization.
  • Excellent communicator, able to interact confidently with clients, media contacts, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in media outreach tools, social media platforms, and PR software (e.g., Meltwater, Muck Rack, etc.).
  • Tech-savvy, with comfort using tools like Slack, Notion, Monday.com, and other project management platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • A passion for staying up-to-date with media trends, industry news, and evolving media opportunities.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive, proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow.
