Position Summary : SecurityStudio is now seeking an Account Executive, who will be responsible for selling the software that SecurityStudio provides to external parties, guiding opportunities through the entire sales process, from cold outreach to closed deals. This position drives the growth and revenue of the organization through gaining new business, and is focused on finding, developing, and building new business services to new and existing clients.

Working Location : This position is available on a full-time remote / hybrid basis in Minnesota or Wisconsin. Only candidates located in the United States will be considered.

What Your Day Looks Like as an Account Executive :

  • Driving growth by targeting ideal prospects and performing cold calls to win new business following the full sales cycle from initial contact to negotiation and closing
  • Performing introductory calls with clients and begin to establish a professional relationship
  • Following up with existing accounts to ensure client satisfaction and maintain current MRR levels
  • Reviewing proposals to ensure accuracy of information
  • Developing strategic account plans and execute activities to drive upsell and renewal opportunities with existing clients
  • Meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual closed sales quota
  • Regularly attending sales and product knowledge training
  • Networking and building relationships with clients and prospects
  • Collaborating with prospect to identify client customization needs and document the onboarding plans to ensure fulfillment
  • Providing implementation support to onboarding new clients
  • Gathering feedback during onboarding to identify areas for product or process improvement
  • Suggesting actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth

Working Hours : This is a full-time position worked Monday-Friday each week, with the expectation that the responsibilities can be completed in 40 hours each week. Primary business hours are Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm CDT, however this position offers flexibility in setting the working schedule best fit for you, while most importantly maintaining the expectations of the position, completing projects within defined deadlines, and participating in all company and team meetings.

Travel : There may be occasional travel, up to 15% for day or overnight trips to meet with prospects or current clients, attend trade shows, or conferences or others sales travel.

Requirements

What You Bring to the Account Executive Role :

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 2-4 years of sales or customer success experience; software sales experience preferred
  • Additional certifications in sales and / or information technology are a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to align products and services available to client needs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and solutions (i.e. Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Clear, concise, and confident communicator
  • Demonstrate curiosity and thrive on building new relationships
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills to meet client and business needs
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software required; HubSpot is a plus
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of identifying opportunities, solving problems creatively, and delivering results
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making informed decisions with limited information

Salary : SecurityStudio believes in and operates with equitable hiring practices. The starting base salary for the Account Executive is between $90,000-100,000 not including any bonus, incentive commission, or benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the defined salary range for the position across the United States. Within the range, pay offered is determined by a variety of factors that include but are not limited to job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
