Overview

If the following successful attributes and responsibilities are areas of your expertise, we welcome you to apply for our Sales Account Executive role for an opportunity to join our team and drive success & growth within the cosmetic arena. As a Sales Account Executive, this vital role will rely heavily on strategic thinking and be responsible for spearheading Account success.

Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to drive sales and achieve revenue targets through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Sales Strategy: Create and implement strategic sales plans tailored to each account, focusing on maximizing product placement, promotions, and overall sales performance.
  • Order Management: Process, manage, and follow-through the lifecycle of customer orders. Collaborate with Logistics team and buyers to ensure changes and needs are effectively communicated.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our beauty product lines and effectively communicate their benefits to buyers and store managers.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats within the FDM & Discount Channels.
  • Promotions and Merchandising: Work closely with marketing teams to develop and execute promotional programs and opportunities ensuring optimal product placement and brand awareness. Propose recommendations based on Account needs and be ready to present for final approval.
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Request, compile and analyze regular sales reports and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service to accounts, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Accounts to coordinate the participation & success of programs and launches to ensure timely execution by collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Development, Logistics and Supply Chain.
  • Travel: Travel as necessary to meet with key accounts and attend industry events and trade shows.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales role, with prior experience in Account Management is required.
  • Minimum 2+ years of Sales experience within the cosmetics / beauty / skincare industry is required.
  • Strong understanding of the beauty space utilizing trends, account demographics & cycles.
  • Ability to translate complex product information into compelling sales narratives.
  • Successful negotiation skills with a results-driven mindset.
  • Strategic approach to assortment selection with ability to expand brand footprint.
  • Seamlessly navigate cross-functional communication and support the Sales Team as needed.
  • Ability to address challenges and find solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced working knowledge of different CRM and ERP software.
  • Proficient in data reporting and analysis, with exposure to demand forecasting.
