About the role

  • Location: San Francisco Bay Area, CA or Austin, TX.
  • Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll be our Founding Account Executive building the foundations of our sales team and partnering with marketing to scale our enterprise growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound and inbound channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process from discovery to close. This includes conducting product demos, negotiating contracts, and building business cases for decision-makers.
  • Client Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target companies.
  • Solution Selling: Understand customer pain points and requirements, then align our SaaS solutions to address these challenges effectively.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized and accurate sales pipeline, providing regular updates to the sales leadership team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, customer success, and product development to ensure customer satisfaction and feedback loop.
  • Reporting: Track and report on key sales metrics such as lead generation, conversion rates, revenue targets, and pipeline health.
  • Sales Strategy: Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes, strategies, and tools to enhance performance and scalability.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales in SaaS, or professional services (legal, finance).
  • Experience in selling to mid-market or large enterprise-level clients.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and closing high-value deals.
  • Strong understanding of the SaaS sales cycle, including consultative selling techniques.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation tools.

This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Ruli and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including candidates' market location, job-related experience, industry experience, qualifications, and skills.
