Base pay range

$133,753.00/yr - $180,959.00/yr

Responsibilities:

1. Perform account management functions for assigned service accounts, collaborating with underwriting, claims, policyholders, and brokers. Focus on reducing loss potential while developing healthy account relationships to drive account retention and partnership.
2. Complete on-site and remote surveys to assess an account’s operations, exposures, and hazard mitigation strategies to help Arch underwriting best identify and retain profitable business.
3. Generate and review required reports and recommendations. Meet reporting deadlines in accordance with departmental performance objectives.
4. Manage workload with use of third parties as needed to accomplish work by deadlines of underwriters and department, ensuring quality of work.
5. Assist Arch and clients with ongoing and specific projects. Support technical training presentations for internal and external clients as required/appropriate.
6. Utilize tools/software for data analysis, creating and modifying documents, and improving accounts and book performance.

What You'll Bring to the Role:

1. Minimum 7 years of risk control experience with account management and site/field surveys, with knowledge in property, general liability, products liability, workers compensation, auto, and excess.
2. Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or safety-related field, with relevant insurance industry experience; industry designations are a plus but not required.
3. Knowledge of standards such as NFPA, FM, OSHA, DOT, and best practices.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong business acumen.
6. Commitment to continuous learning and applying new concepts.

Additional Information:

The salary range is as of the posting date and is incentive eligible. Total compensation considers factors like location, role scope, qualifications, and business needs. The range may be adjusted in the future.
