In this role, you will serve as the primary point of coordination between the customer and Hitachi Energy, helping align business priorities with solutions across the power and energy portfolio. You will work closely with customer executives, internal business units, technical specialists, and project teams to identify opportunities, address complex business challenges, and support long-term account growth. This position combines relationship management, strategic planning, sales execution, and team coordination, with responsibility for increasing customer engagement, expanding orders, and supporting customer satisfaction. You will help utilities navigate changing energy demands by connecting them with technologies and solutions that support grid reliability, operational performance, and modernization efforts. The role also includes coaching team members, coordinating account resources, supporting major pursuits, and helping ensure a consistent customer experience across all interactions with Hitachi Energy.

Your Background
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering, technical, or business discipline required. MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in customer-facing sales roles, preferably within the energy industry.
  • Experience managing direct reports is preferred.
  • Exposure to multiple products, customers, geographies, or market segments.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a matrixed team environment.
  • Experience with customer relationship management, sales pursuits, problem resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Solid business acumen with the ability to understand customer priorities, market trends, and commercial considerations.
