What You’ll Do

Spotter is in search of an Account Director who has digital advertising sales experience within a video platform or publisher. We are looking for someone who has a deep understanding of the YouTube ecosystem, extensive brand and agency relationships, and someone who provides strategic problem solving and thinking for their business. Success in new business development across the East and Southeast is a must. The Account Director will be a self-starter, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be able to evangelize the Spotter platform and value proposition as we grow.

  • We're looking for an Account Director to join our Sales team, based in NYC.
  • Build, manage and grow strategic partnerships with customers and agencies across multiple verticals.
  • Drive revenue through selling premium library of YouTube creator content.
  • Prospect and expand current relationships to cover entire account list.
  • Operate with high levels of activity across weekly client meetings and client entertainment.
Who You Are
  • 10+ years of sales experience; relationships at applicable agencies and client direct teams.
  • Experience in digital video advertising, CTV, and/or YouTube.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue goals, developing and breaking new business.
  • Accustomed to building own processes to hold self-accountable in sales cycle.
  • Strong team player and ability to succeed in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment while maintaining high levels of operational rigor, digital acumen, and business excellence.
  • Established history of prospecting new clients, generating leads and closing deals.
  • Ability to perform at a high level, even when faced with unexpected change. Excels at being a creative problem solver.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Naturally curious with a desire to bring fresh ideas.
  • Excels in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing startup culture.
  • Consultative, thoughtful and direct approach to breaking new business with a track record of performance over goal to prove it.
  • A team player who collaborates with others, is honest, accountable, and trustworthy.
  • Proven track of success in working with Fortune 100 companies and their holding companies to provide complex solutions and value propositions.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to travel to respective markets.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in New York City. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $150K-$180K salary per year plus commission. The range listed is just one component of Spotter’s total compensation package for employees.
