Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Meet is partnered with an established, independent medical communications agency known for its outstanding reputation in the industry. They specialize in delivering solutions for medical affairs, commercial, and promotional medical education.

They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Director to join their growing team. As an Account Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing client accounts, fostering strong relationships, and overseeing the successful delivery of high-quality projects. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior staff, and drive strategic initiatives to meet client objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead client relationships, ensuring alignment with client objectives and expectations while maintaining high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Oversee the development and execution of medical communication strategies and programs, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (creative, scientific, strategy, etc.) to develop and execute comprehensive communication plans for clients in medical affairs, commercial, or promo meded.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, offering proactive communication and consultation on medical communication needs.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior staff and account teams, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new opportunities with existing clients and participating in pitch presentations.

Qualifications:

  • 5-6 years of agency experience, ideally in medical affairs, commercial, or promo meded.
  • Strong understanding of the medical communications industry.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building lasting relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to changing client needs and industry developments.
