Global Director of Interim and Permanent Solutions

Role Overview

My client is seeking a commercially astute, strategically minded Account Director to lead client engagement for a major FMCG brand. This is a highly visible, client-facing role that demands a proactive leader with experience in POSM (Point of Sale Materials), POS (Point of Sale), merchandising campaigns, and both ATL (Above-the-Line) and BTL (Below-the-Line) marketing.

You’ll be the strategic partner and operational lead, driving excellence in campaign execution while translating complex data into actionable insight. A key component of this role is senior stakeholder management, requiring polished communication skills, business acumen, and strong Excel capabilities to extract, interpret and narrate data-driven stories.

Key Responsibilities

Client Management & Relationship Development

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Understand and anticipate client needs, industry trends, and campaign objectives to deliver proactive solutions.
  • Facilitate regular strategic reviews and business updates, aligning ADM’s services with evolving brand goals.

Campaign & Project Management

  • Lead the planning and execution of complex POSM, merchandising, and ATL/BTL campaigns across global and regional markets.
  • Work cross-functionally with production, design, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
  • Implement and refine operational processes to ensure consistent quality, cost control, and speed to market.
  • Leverage advanced Excel and analytical tools to manage campaign data, tracking KPIs, spend, performance, and engagement.
  • Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities, transforming data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Present clear, concise reporting and performance dashboards to internal and external stakeholders.

Strategic & Commercial Acumen

  • Support business development through deep understanding of the client’s category, competitive landscape, and consumer behaviour.
  • Contribute to client growth strategies and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Support contract renewals, scope expansions, and new project briefs with commercially sound proposals.

Key Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years' experience in client services/account management, preferably within marketing services, FMCG, or alcohol/beverage sectors.
  • Proven track record in POSM/POS/merchandising campaign delivery, with exposure to ATL and BTL channels.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills – credible, composed, and confident when dealing with senior client teams.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel – able to analyse, visualise, and present complex datasets clearly.
  • Strong business acumen, with an ability to spot trends, uncover insights, and develop strategic recommendations.
  • Experience working with global brands and multi-market campaign execution.
  • Understanding of supply chain processes and procurement methodologies is advantageous.
