The Challenge

Adobe is looking for an Account Director responsible for achieving sales targets through the sale of Adobe’s Digital Marketing product lines, working with Adobe’s largest customers in the Retail industry. This includes developing long-term relationships and crafting strategic account plans. The role involves software solution selling and direct customer engagement, focusing on building relationships at all levels, especially with C-suite executives. The goal is to guide customers to successfully start with Adobe and expand the value from our solutions. This is a key role at a leading technology company, requiring high energy, data-mindedness, inquisitiveness, and tech-savviness, with prior senior sales experience.

What You’ll Do

  1. Act as the CEO of your Business
  2. Set a strategic multi-year vision and proactively develop a sales plan.
  3. Be an innovative problem solver, leading in solving complex problems to better serve customers.
  4. Communicate persuasively with customers to uncover solutions.
  5. Build strong relationships with executives across various fields.
  6. Identify and align on key business issues with customers.
  7. Demonstrate industry expertise and act as a trusted advisor.
  8. Articulate Adobe’s value proposition and how solutions align with customer needs.
  9. Lead collaboration within Adobe’s ecosystem and partners to achieve outcomes.
  10. Manage large, complex sales processes involving internal teams and external partners.
  11. Meet sales quotas and execute sales strategies effectively.
  12. Develop and lead regular account planning meetings.
  13. Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and qualify opportunities efficiently.

Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • 5 to 7+ years of successful solution sales experience in enterprise organizations, especially in Marketing, IT, or related lines of business.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and collaborate with various Adobe departments.
  • Strong understanding of digital experience technologies and SaaS, particularly in Retail.
  • Proven sales excellence and creative problem-solving skills.

Compensation ranges from $227,500 to $357,800 annually, depending on location, experience, and skills. Additional incentives and long-term incentives may apply.
