We. is seeking an Account Director in Chicago to guide strategic communications for corporate clients. You’ll lead cross‑functional teams, nurture senior media relationships, and drive high‑impact campaigns across sustainability, CSR and reporting programs.

You’ll shape narratives, advise clients, and coach junior staff while coordinating complex work with agency partners and contractors in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualificações

• 5–7+ years in communications, marketing or media with 4+ years in management.
• Experience with business, agriculture and sustainability media is valued.
• Strong client advisory and strategic storytelling skills.

Responsabilidades

• Build senior‑level relationships with media and influencers.
• Shape stories and pitches across earned and owned channels.
• Provide counsel to clients and maintain ongoing relationships.
• Lead strategy and execution across projects, launches, events and news cycles.
• Manage timelines, budgets, resources, and day‑to‑day coordination.
• Turn research and industry knowledge into actionable recommendations.
• Ensure reporting for high‑profile work is accurate and insightful.
• Mentor junior team members and develop direct reports.
• Contribute to staffing, hiring and onboarding; involve senior leaders when needed.
• Contribute to new business and thought leadership proposals.
