Short’s Travel Management, a leading provider of NCAA Athletic travel for collegiate athletics, has an immediate opening for an Account Coordinator in its hotel department, STM-Stay.

Job Purpose:

An Account Coordinator for STM-Stay is responsible for assisting Account Executives and Managers with ongoing business sales support and hotel relationships. This position may work remotely.

Essential Functions
  1. Assists Account Executives with review and management of hotel proposals and negotiations.
  2. Builds strong, productive relationships with hotel vendors and sales managers to ensure prompt proposals and bids.
  3. Demonstrates teamwork, dependability, reliability, and flexibility, with the ability to multi-task.
  4. Assists with or handles tasks outside of the typical position scope for the benefit of clients or the company.
Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in hospitality, hotel customer service, or hotel management is desired but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with goal focus and minimal need for direct supervision.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Salesforce or Cvent is a plus but not required.
