Job summary

Job description

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and execution of all policy documents, renewals, and day‑to‑day servicing requests, acting as primary contact for any administrative tasks related to a client’s policies.
  • Remain knowledgeable of advances in the insurance business and keep abreast of the types of insurance products available.
  • Serve as initial point of contact for the client.
  • Monitor client questions and provide recommendations in partnership with the Account Management Team on appropriate coverage changes and/or contractual requirements.
  • Identify, research, and provide resolution for routine or basic client issues.
  • Maintain client files accurately and consistently, ensuring proper documentation and communication in accordance with company workflow, procedures, and best practices.
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy in document management systems.
  • Assist the Account Management team with the remarketing of renewals to ensure a high level of account retention.
  • Prepare proposals as directed by the Account Manager.
  • Review policies from carriers for accuracy, expedite corrections, and handle endorsements and applications.
  • Ensure carriers respond promptly to expedite claim settlements.
  • Review policy audits and verify their accuracy.
  • Confirm necessary corrections between the client and the carrier are executed at the direction of the Account Management team.
  • Proactively communicate with the client about any significant audit differences.
  • Review cancellation requests, identify reasons, and attempt to retain client accounts while preserving the company’s financial interests.
  • Fully adopt innovative technology, including proprietary AI solutions, into the service process.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, new products, legislation, coverage, and technology to improve knowledge, performance, and client services.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
A GLIMPSE INTO YOUR DAY

Serves as initial point of contact for the client, monitors client questions, and provides recommendations with the Account Management Team on coverage changes and contractual requirements. Identifies, researches, and resolves routine or basic client issues, maintains client files accurately and consistently, and documents all communication in line with company workflow and best practices. Ensures a high degree of accuracy in document management systems and assists with the remarketing of renewals to support account retention.

Prepares proposals as directed by the Account Manager, reviews carrier policies for accuracy, expedites corrections, handles endorsements and applications, ensures prompt carrier response for claim settlements, and verifies policy audits. Confirms corrections between client and carrier, communicates significant audit differences, reviews cancellation requests, and attempts to retain client accounts while safeguarding the company’s financial interests.

Adopts innovative technology—including proprietary AI solutions—to deliver best‑in‑class service, keeps up to date with industry trends, new products, legislation, coverage, and technology to enhance performance and client services, and takes on special projects and other duties as assigned.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE
  • A Property and Casualty License from the state of domicile is required and must be maintained.
  • Associate in Insurance (AINS) and/or Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; a four‑year degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of client service experience in the insurance industry focusing on commercial lines.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus or required in some locations.
  • In‑depth understanding of commercial lines of coverage.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills for in‑person and teleconference/webinar sessions.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to maintain effective relationships with clients, co‑workers, carriers, vendors, and others.
  • Ability to understand written and oral communications and interpret information written within policies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and Word), agency management systems software, and online rating systems.
  • Intermediate knowledge of insurance markets, products, services, insurance ratings and underwriting procedures.
  • Valid driver’s license, ability to travel to client sites, and reliable transportation.
