Job description

We are looking for an organized, proactive Account Coordinator to help us scale our agency relationships. This is a client-facing role and the right hand to the Account Director. You’ll help manage the day-to-day rhythm of ongoing client relationships, build deep knowledge of each client’s business, and coordinate our internal team and outside resources so work moves forward smoothly.

You’ll participate in client meetings and conversations with subject-matter experts, working closely with Account Directors, designers, copywriters, creative directors and technical partners. This is the first step on our account leadership track. You’ll learn how great agency-client relationships work, develop business and marketing acumen, and progressively take on greater client responsibility.

What you will do
  • Support the Account Director in managing deadlines and deliverables, proactively tracking progress and flagging risks.
  • Draft and route creative briefs from client input, ensuring requests enter the system complete enough for work to start.
  • Coordinate the account meeting cadence: prepare agendas, capture notes, distribute recaps, track action items and follow through.
  • Track open items, timelines and deliverables across concurrent workstreams, escalating early when something slips.
  • Traffic deliverables through internal, client and legal or compliance review; manage rounds and version control.
  • Proofread and fact-check client-facing materials against brand and legal guidelines before release.
  • Prepare status reports, meeting decks and project summaries for client review.
  • Pull performance data from client platforms and assemble recurring performance reports; prepare inputs for QBRs and annual planning.
  • Capture client feedback, clarify questions or conflicting direction with the Account Director and client as needed, and help translate feedback into clear direction for the creative team.
  • Build working fluency in the client’s business: their revenue model, buying committee, category and decision-makers, and bring that context to creative briefings and internal status and resourcing meetings.
  • Coordinate calendars, standing meetings, agency/client logistics and vendor or partner onboarding.
  • Maintain account documentation: brand guidelines, asset libraries, stakeholder rosters, approvals and account history.
  • Keep account records, project statuses and time entries current in CRM and project management tools.
  • Track competitors, category shifts and campaign activity, summarizing relevant insights for the Account Director.
  • Support the Account Director on budget tracking, hours, estimates and invoicing detail.
  • Assist on scoping, estimates, SOW drafting and proposal assembly for organic growth opportunities.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate day-to-day account work, with human review before anything reaches a client.
What you bring
  • One to three years of experience in a client-facing role at an agency, consultancy or in-house marketing team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the confidence to participate actively in client conversations.
  • Exceptional organization and follow-through, and comfort managing many moving parts at once.
  • Working knowledge of the creative development process and marketing deliverables across digital and experiential channels.
  • Curiosity about AI and emerging tools, and a willingness to use them responsibly to improve day-to-day account work.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
