Account Coordinator – Social Video Services

We are a multi‑platform production company, social media agency, and digital media network seeking an Account Coordinator to join our Social Video Services team. The role involves optimizing video content for YouTube and social platforms across a range of verticals, including video optimization, simple analytical report generation, graphic design, copywriting, channel maintenance, content logging, uploads, and general support.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain YouTube channels: create thumbnails in Photoshop, write titles and descriptions, and schedule uploads.
• Grow YouTube and social video audiences and analyze what content keeps them engaged.
• Manage community features on YouTube, including creating images, GIFs, and social posts.
• Write copy for posts on YouTube, ensuring consistency with editorial voice and tone.
• Use YouTube analytics to inform strategic channel decisions.
• Maintain a materials library, follow established edit processes and naming conventions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Excellent knowledge of YouTube and social media platforms and an interest in their differences.
• Basic understanding of YouTube and social media analytics.
• Good working knowledge of Photoshop for thumbnail creation.
• Strong understanding of video formats, compression, and sound/video synchronization.
• Some knowledge of the YouTube and Facebook content management system and other video platforms (bonus).
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to proof‑check own work.
• Team player with a flexible, hardworking attitude, good sense of humour, and interest in a dynamic start‑up environment.
• Proficiency in additional languages is a bonus.
