Job description

In Good Company PR is a boutique public relations and brand strategy agency specializing in luxury weddings, events, hospitality, and lifestyle. We partner with thoughtful, ambitious brands and personalities to build names people want to know, talk about and remember.

From strategic positioning and media relations to owned content, partnerships, launches and long-term growth, we think holistically about how brands build authority, deepen relationships and stay relevant. We bring deep industry expertise, meaningful relationships and a highly personal approach to every client. We know what makes a brand distinctive, what makes an audience lean in, and how media, content, relationships and experiences can work together to turn visibility into lasting value.

Why In Good Company PR:

We're a small, highly collaborative team, and we believe great work starts with great relationships. We care deeply about the brands we represent, the work we put into the world, and the people we do it alongside. Hospitality is part of how we work, too: we believe in anticipating needs, sweating the small details, and finding thoughtful ways to make clients and collaborators feel genuinely cared for. At IGCPR, you'll have a real seat at the table, the chance to learn across every part of the business, and the expectation to bring your own ideas to life.

Come be In Good Company!

We're searching for our next Account Coordinator to join our team in early 2027. As the glue that holds our day-to-day together, you'll keep clients, projects, and the team moving forward while gaining hands‑on experience across media relations, research, social media, partnerships, and strategy. You'll work closely with our Account Manager and the broader team to stay ahead of the details, anticipate what's needed next, and help deliver thoughtful work for a portfolio of wedding, hospitality, and lifestyle brands.

Here’s What We Need:

We’re looking for someone who is thoughtful, creative, and proactive. You’re detail‑oriented enough to keep the moving pieces organized, but curious enough to notice what’s happening around you and turn it into an idea.

Client + PR Support

Help keep client projects, meetings, deadlines, and deliverables thoughtfully organized and moving forward.

Support client communication, onboarding, meetings, and follow‑up with professionalism and care.

Assist with media research, list building, pitch development, press materials, outreach, and coverage tracking.

Support launches, events, partnerships, and other client moments from initial research through execution and follow‑up.

Research editorial opportunities, industry trends and relevant brands, creators and media.

Stay closely attuned to the wedding, hospitality, lifestyle and events landscape, bringing relevant ideas and opportunities to the team.

Support client reporting and help translate social and website analytics into meaningful insights.

Keep a close eye on the wedding, hospitality, lifestyle and events landscape, and flag articles, trends, and conversations that matter to our clients’ goals.

Research brands, creators, media, tastemakers, potential partners and referral ecosystems, helping the team identify relationships worth building.

Connect dots across research: recognizing when a trend, conversation, new opening, personnel move or opportunity for one client could create an idea for another.

Bring your broader market knowledge to larger marketing plans, brand positioning, and strategic partnerships.

Explore new tools, technology (including AI), platforms, and ideas that could make our team and our clients’ programs even stronger – without sacrificing the human thinking behind it.

Content & Social Media

Write and refine content across media pitches, newsletters, blogs, Substack and social platforms.

Develop thoughtful social content, from copy and imagery to Reels and short‑form video.

Support Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and select LinkedIn accounts, including publishing, community engagement and reporting.

Contribute creative thinking to PR pitches, partnerships, social content, and larger client initiatives.

Help extend the life of earned media and client milestones by translating them into thoughtful owned content across social, LinkedIn, newsletters, journals/blogs, websites and other relevant channels.

Use performance data and audience insights to inform content strategy and turn reporting into actionable recommendations.

A sharp writer with an editor’s eye. You know how to make an idea clear, compelling, and distinctly human, with a thoughtful understanding of how content supports a larger strategy.

Digitally fluent and socially native. You understand Instagram and TikTok instinctively, but you're equally curious about where attention is moving next. You pay attention to creators, brands, media, platforms and online behaviors - and understand how digital culture translates into real‑world influence.

You have a hospitality mindset. You understand that exceptional service is often about the things no one has to ask for: anticipating a need, remembering a detail, making someone feel considered, or finding a small way to surprise and delight. You take pride in creating thoughtful, personal interactions and experiences for clients, media, partners, and the people in our orbit.

Visually creative, and you execute. You have a strong aesthetic point of view and the ability to turn an unexpected idea into something tangible, from a social concept to a PR pitch or partnership.

Proactive and always listening. You notice the small moments and know when they matter, whether it’s a new vendor following our Instagram, a relevant article, or an opportunity to nurture a relationship.

What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

1–2 years of experience in PR, communications, marketing, or an agency/client‑service environment. Internships count.

A high degree of professionalism and discretion, with an understanding that great client service often means knowing what to share, what to protect, and how to handle sensitive information thoughtfully.

Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with an exceptional eye for detail.

Excellent organization and time management, with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines and keep multiple clients moving forward.

Strong client‑service instincts and sound judgment, with the ability to know what needs your attention, what can wait, and when to pull in the team.

A natural relationship‑builder who is thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely interested in getting to know the people behind the brands, media, and industry.

Resourceful and comfortable figuring things out, asking thoughtful questions, and taking initiative when there isn’t a clear playbook.

Comfort moving between execution and ideas – you're happy handling the details that make great client service possible, but you're also paying attention to the bigger picture and aren't afraid to bring an idea, observation or opportunity to the team.

Proficiency with Google Workspace and Canva, with an eagerness to learn new tools.

A proactive, curious mindset and genuine interest in weddings, hospitality, lifestyle, and culture.

Bonus Points For:

Based in Boston, MA or the DMV area (District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia).

Experience with Cision, Muck Rack, Meltwater, a CRM, and/or Google Analytics.

Familiarity with wedding, hospitality, or lifestyle media and relationships with editors, creators, or industry contacts.

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or short‑form video content creation.

Experience with digital marketing and paid social, including building, managing, or optimizing campaigns on Meta, Google, or Pinterest Ads.

Experience in weddings, events, hospitality, venues, or vendor work.
