The Monmouth County Board of Taxation is seeking one temporary full-time employee to assist during the upcoming tax appeal season. The positions would start in early December 2026 and run up to 6 months and require working Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
On a typical day, the Clerk will handle incoming and outgoing mail, file paperwork, and scan documents for digital recordkeeping. They will maintain organized filing systems to ensure records are easily accessible. The role includes preparing and distributing paperwork for appeal hearings and providing on-site clerical support during proceedings. Daily tasks also involve assisting staff and the public with routine inquiries while following clear office guidelines and procedures.
Please be advised, all Monmouth County positions are on site. There are no provisions to work remotely.
