ROLE DESCRIPTION

As Account Associate for Linda DeSpain - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You help grow our office located next to the Las Colinas Country Club through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of prospects and customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services. This is a great career development position with candidates that have some experience and candidates that are just getting started in the insurance business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage both prospects and customer accounts and update information in the database.
• Assist prospects and customers with policy changes and inquiries.
• Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status.
• Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.
• Handle Customer Acquisitions on a daily basis.
• This is primarily a Sales Position.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred.
• Must have or be willing to acquire Texas General Lines Insurance License before starting. Will assist in test prep and provide coaching to pass the Texas General Lines Insurance exams.
