Job description

Mike Kenney State Farm Insurance Agency is still growing even after 40 years in business, and we're looking to connect with top talent!

We are a local agency—this is not a "corporate" or stuffy environment. We have fun and embrace a 'work hard, play hard' mentality.

Located in Louisville, KY, centrally in the Hikes Point Neighborhood.

We need a Rainmaker! ? (rayn)

  • Definition: In the business world, a "Rainmaker" is an individual who generates high revenue for an organization by bringing in new customers and leads.
  • This is a sales role. You will talk on the phone, text, email, and speak face-to-face. If that makes you cringe, then this isn't for you. You must be able to handle rejection!
  • While this is a sales-focused position, our conversations are needs-based. We do not oversell or talk about products customers do not need. We get to know our customers individually and find solutions that fit their needs and concerns. Insurance is a necessity for everyone, but it's not one-size-fits-all.

Insurance experience is not required. Must be coachable and willing to become licensed.

Compensation includes hourly pay plus commission, PTO, paid holidays, Monday–Friday schedule, and licensing and training reimbursement.

This employment opportunity is with a State Farm agent, not directly with State Farm Insurance companies, and requires successful completion of licensing requirements to solicit and service State Farm products.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
