Job summary

Forest Home Christian Camps in Oak View seeks an Accommodations Staff member to service, clean, prepare, and reset guest rooms, cabins, tents, meeting spaces, restrooms, and other areas to Forest Home standards.

Under the Accommodations Director and Clean Sweep Leads, you will participate in Clean Sweeps between groups, complete daily cleaning tasks, remove trash, dust surfaces, vacuum, reset thermostats, and ensure lights and equipment are off after turnover.

Qualifications

• Experience in camp operations or hospitality preferred.
• Ability to follow Forest Home cleaning standards.
• Regular, timely attendance and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays.
• Excellent guest service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Services and cleans assigned guest rooms, cabins, tents, meeting rooms, restrooms, buildings, offices, and other areas according to Forest Home cleaning standards.
• Completes assigned daily cleaning task lists and duties.
• Performs cleaning duties including removing trash, dusting, cobwebs, cleaning windows, vacuuming and sweeping.
• Resets thermostats, turns off lights and equipment after turnovers.
• Assists with seasonal or operational changeovers and reports safety concerns.
