Job summary

SkyWest Airlines in Utah seeks an Accessory Shop Technician to perform maintenance and repair of aircraft components in accordance with manufacturer manuals, the SkyWest GMM, and shop procedures to ensure flight safety.

You will work a four 10-hour shift schedule, remain flexible for overtime and weekend work, maintain a clean, safe work area, and wear required eye and ear protection while handling tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid, unrestricted state driver's license.
• Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Proficient reading, writing, and understanding English.
• Demonstrate mechanical experience or aptitude.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate.
• Willingness to work four 10-hour shifts; days to be determined.
• Flexibility to work weekend shifts as necessary.

Responsibilities

Primary Job Duties

As an Accessory Shop Technician, you are accountable for the maintenance and repair of components. You will conduct component servicing in compliance with manufacturer maintenance manuals, SkyWest General Maintenance Manual (GMM), and established shop protocols to ensure flight safety.

• Become thoroughly acquainted with and understand the requirements of the GMM.
• Maintain responsibility for your designated work area by keeping it orderly and free of potential hazards.
• Ensure all tools and support equipment remain clean, safe, and fully operational always.
• Wear appropriate eye and ear protection when required to preserve your sight and hearing during tool usage or machinery operation.
• Be available to work any shift as well as overtime when necessary.

Minimum Requirements

• Hold a valid, unrestricted state-issued driver’s license.
