Job summary
Under Armour in Baltimore is seeking a Technical Designer - Accessories to oversee tech packs from development to production, including overseas fit communication. You will lead the development of a product category, collaborate with factories and costing teams to optimize fit, performance and cost, and build technical packages for multiple categories.
The role requires 4 days in-office in a hybrid schedule, with extensive live model fittings, pattern creation, and cross-functional collaboration
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year Fashion Design program.
- Minimum of 4 years in technical design or product development experience.
- Expertise building Development & Production Tech Packs.
- Must have experience managing a product category.
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to lead product presentations.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of a product category from design concept to production.
- Coordinate with factories and costing teams to optimize fit, performance and cost.
- Create and review technical packages for one or more categories.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve engineering issues.
- Manage workload for one or more categories and meet calendar deliverables.
