Job summary

24 Seven Talent partners with a premium bag and accessories brand to hire an Accessories Product Designer with deep expertise in luggage, backpacks, and sewn soft goods. In this hands‑on role, you’ll shape products from concept through production in collaboration with leadership, pattern makers, sample teams, and manufacturing partners.

The role can be onsite/hybrid in Seattle or fully remote if able to travel to Seattle quarterly, designing backpacks, producing tech packs, and refining

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing commercially produced backpacks, luggage, or sewn soft goods.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating products brought to market; luggage experience valued.
• Expertise in bag construction, sewing methods, materials, and manufacturing.
• Experience with technical drawings, tech packs, specs, and prototype evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Design backpacks, travel bags, luggage, and accessories from concept through production.
• Create sketches, technical drawings, specifications, and production-ready documentation.
• Develop product architecture, usability, comfort, materials, hardware, and construction details.
• Build, evaluate, and refine prototypes through multiple development rounds.
• Partner with pattern makers, sample makers, sourcing teams, and manufacturing partners.
• Contribute to product roadmaps, research, testing, and development-process improvements.
