Job summary

National Seating & Mobility is seeking an Accessibility Technician to assemble, modify and deliver accessibility equipment with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. The role involves installing and maintaining stairlifts, lifts, ramps and related products in clients’ homes or facilities, as well as diagnosing and repairing malfunctions.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to troubleshoot and repair accessibility equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for customer service interactions.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift 75+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install, restore, repair, maintain and set up NSM stairlifts, ceiling lifts, ramps, and other equipment in clients’ homes or facilities.
• Document work and track time and materials for billing.
• Work with in-store staff and technicians to coordinate service and delivery.
• Troubleshoot equipment on-site or over the phone; fabricate/customize components as needed.
